Jr. MANRRS Curriculum


Americans are more racially and ethnically diverse than in the past, and the U.S. is projected to be even more diverse in the coming decades (Cohn & Caumont, 2016).  According to the U.S. Census Bureau (2014), more than 13 percent of people in the United States are between the ages of 10 and 19. These adolescents are increasingly diverse and reflect the changing demographics of the U.S. population. In order to be the next generation of diverse leaders, these youth will need consistent and meaningful development from professional mentors, engagement and perspective on curricular and co-curricular decisions from industry and post-secondary institutions, and positive interactions from collegiate students of higher education institutions potential.  In response to the changing and increasing diverse population and the need for contextual learning, we present to you an interactive curriculum and modules of Creating the Next Generation of Diverse Leaders that will aid you as leaders aspiring to make a difference in your local community, club, school, or organizations.  These modules have been carefully constructed to provide a framework for developing the next generation of diverse leaders.  We thank you for your continuous commitment and wish you much success in advancing our mission of creating the next generation of diverse leaders.
