MANRRS is a non-profit organization registered in the state of Michigan. The central thesis for the organization is stated in its constitution as follows:

We the members of this society pledge to supportendeavors that will always foster and promote the agricultural sciences and related fields in a positive manner among ethnic minorities. We also pledge to initiate and participate in activities and programs that will ensure that ethnic minorities will also be involved in and associated with the agricultural sciences and related fields. We pledge to work for the inclusion, achievement, and advancement of all people in the agricultural sciences.

John Deere Scholarship

As a world leader in providing advanced products and services to its customers, John Deere is also committed to cultivating the next generation of leaders through a $1,000 scholarship. John Deere will award one $1,000 scholarship per region to students who have excelled in academics, extracurricular activities, MANRRS, and community involvement.

Going for Gold Jr. MANRRS Scholarship sponsored by CHS Foundation

The CHS Foundation Scholarships provide financial assistance to high school students in select Jr. MANRRS and MANRRS Chapters in the United States who will be pursuing agriculture-related degrees.  Students pursuing an ag-related STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) field of study with an interest in agriculture, cooperatives, or rural America should also be considered.

Farm Credit
MANRRS Farm Credit VIP Scholarship

Deadline: February 7, 2021

The National Society of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) and Farm Credit are now accepting applications for the Farm Credit VIP Scholarship Program. 

Scholarship recipients will receive VIP Farm Credit merch, the opportunity to participate in the Farm Credit VIP Track of the 2021 National MANRRS Conference, and a $1,000 academic scholarship. The scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s college tuition, room and board for the Spring 2021 semester.

MANRRS Veterinary Scholarship Powered by Merck

Merck Animal Health is providing scholarship funds to be awarded to seven recipients at $5,000 each. This scholarship opportunity is available to all 2nd and 3rd-year veterinary students who are enrolled in the veterinary medical program.
