Position Summary:

The Land and Water Conservation Director is responsible for developing and sustaining an inspiring and compelling vision of success for the Conservancy’s land and water conservation programs in Idaho.

 
 Position Overview
 
 The Nature Conservancy has demonstrated that we can play a unique and critical role in shaping and implementing large-scale solutions to conserve the lands and water of Idaho. The Land and Water Conservation Director is responsible for developing and sustaining an inspiring and compelling vision of success for the Conservancy’s land and water conservation programs in Idaho. They act as a spokesperson for the Conservancy’s work in Idaho engaging and presenting to key audiences including trustees, donors, media, and partners. They work closely with the Development team to raise capital and operating funds from public and private sources. They build, direct, and provide support to a team of dedicated team members and collaborates with Conservancy colleagues across the Western U.S. and North America to achieve success.
