Position Summary:

We bring together a diverse group of grower organizations, agribusinesses, food, beverage, apparel, restaurant and retail companies, conservation groups, universities, and public sector partners to define, measure and advance the sustainability of food, feed, fiber and fuel production in the United States.

By uniting the agricultural supply chain and key stakeholders around a common measurement framework, Field to Market seeks to drive continuous improvement in the sustainability of commodity crop production. Our programs are technology-neutral and based in science.

 

The Opportunities

We are seeking two interns for the summer of 2023 to support various aspects of our member-facing organization. A number of internship projects are possible, based on your interests and skills, such as:

  • Evaluating soil carbon sequestration models
  • Performing literature searches on trends in environmental impacts from agriculture
  • Designing graphics
  • Improving website user experience
  • Event planning and execution
  • Agricultural communication development for social media and other outlets
  • Corporate ESG reporting
  • Advancing racial justice in US agriculture
  • Non-profit governance
  • Analyzing data sets with R

Requirements
  • Students must be entering their senior year or enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program. We will also consider candidates that are already in the workforce.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to St. Louis, Missouri June 4-7, 2023 (all travel expenses will be covered)
  • Fluency in English
  • All internships must conclude within 90 days of start
