The AGCO Agriculture Foundation is pleased to announce its short-term scholarships in the U.S. The goal is to support students from under-represented groups, promote diversity and inclusion and attract talents into the agricultural industry. The scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students with educational backgrounds in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Software
Development, Environmental Management and Sustainability-related disciplines.
The Foundation will award a one-time scholarship which can be used solely for any college-related expenses. Only students who are members of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) are eligible to receive a scholarship.
The Cargill University thrive program was created to ensure more equitable access for women and minority students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), as well as agriculture and business. Focused on universities serving minority students, the thrive program provides financial support through scholarships and expands further to encourage long-term academic success through mentoring, development programming, and career coaching. The goal is to help participating students convert their education into meaningful careers.
Scholarships are a one-time, one-year award to be distributed to 20 students up to $1,500 each, which is inclusive of support to attend the National Conference at $1,000 plus a $500 award upon completion of the scholarship program.
The MANRRS Enrichment Grant supports collegiate and Junior MANRRS Chapters for local programs, travel, and participation in national programs and events. Grants are $1,000 in total and can be used for, but not limited to, travel and registration for MANRRS National Conference or Regional Cluster, chapter dues, support for new and existing chapter events, and member development and training.
Submissions for the current grant cycle are closed and will reopen Fall 2024.

Scholarship recipients will receive VIP Farm Credit merch, the opportunity to participate in the Farm Credit VIP Track of the National MANRRS Conference, a travel scholarship to the conference and a $1,000 academic scholarship. The scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s college tuition, room and board for the Spring or Fall semester.
The Farm Credit VIP Track will provide scholarship recipients with meaningful interactions with Farm Credit leadership and expose students to information about careers at Farm Credit in fields including finance, credit, capital markets, informational technology, marketing, etc. Students will benefit from leadership development and training to better prepare them to find a career in the agriculture industry.

John Deere will award two $3,000 undergraduate, and one $2,500 graduate student scholarships per region to those who have excelled in academics, extracurricular activities, MANRRS, and community involvements.
Additionally, John Deere will award four $1,500 scholarships to MANRRS Chapters who have excelled in academics,
extracurricular activities, and community involvements. This scholarship is intended for chapters that demonstrate a strong need for financial assistance.

This scholarship opportunity is available to all 1st, 2nd and 3rd year veterinary students who are enrolled in the veterinary medical program and are in good academic standing. Scholarships will be applied to tuition for the 2024 fall semester.
To support the next generation of agricultural professionals, National Farmers Union Foundation (NFUF) is offering scholarships for high school seniors, college students or nontraditional students seeking funding to attend an accredited college, university, or technical school. Scholarship awards range from $1,500 – $2,000 and funds can be used for tuition and books. Members of Farmers Union and their families or members of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) are eligible to receive a scholarship.

The National Grain and Feed Foundation looks forward to supporting MANRRS student members by providing three $5,000 competitive scholarships, each of which are renewable for one additional year, as well as the opportunity to meet with hundreds of agribusiness leaders at the National Grain and Feed Association’s annual convention.
The PestWorld Conference is designed to provide collegiate students interested in Entomology or related fields an opportunity to attend the Annual NPMA Pest World Conference. The conference scholarship will provide travel, lodging, and $150 to selected students.
