Position Summary
The College of Forestry at Oregon State University invites applications for a part-time (50%), 12-month, fixed-term (through 6/30/2023) Manager of Continuing and Professional Education Program position in Corvallis, OR.
Continuing and professional education (CPE) for forestry and natural resource professionals, is an important function of the College of Forestry (COF) at Oregon State University (OSU). This position is designed to meet the CPE needs of the state of Oregon and PNW Region, across a broad swath of natural resources fields, including, but not limited to
- forestry
- forest products manufacturing, management, and marketing
- fisheries and wildlife
- natural resources engineering
- geomatics
- water resources
- natural resources policy
- and outdoor recreation.
The incumbent will work with partners across the university as needed for program planning and delivery, including with OSU Conference Services, PACE (OSU Professional and Continuing Education), Forestry and Natural Resources (FNR) Extension, and other program units. They will also liaise with partners outside the university.
