(Public Lands Grazing)

 

Position Summary:
 
The School of Natural Resources and the Environment (SNRE) at the University of Arizona (UA) invites applications for a 12-month, continuing-track Assistant/Associate/Full Rank Extension Specialist position (70-20-10 Extension-Research-Service) focused on public lands grazing in its Ecology, Management, Restoration of Rangelands program. The individual selected will serve as a faculty member in SNRE, UArizona and will respond to the School Director Head and the Director of the Arizona Cooperation Extension System and will work with county Extension faculty and other Extension faculty in planning, conducting, and evaluating educational programs and applied research. The position is planned to be headquartered near Camp Verde, Arizona and will have statewide responsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a high profile, effective, statewide educational program in Rangeland Management, with emphasis on Arizona rangelands, which is recognized at regional, state, national and international levels.
