Position Summary:
Wildlands Engineering is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Charleston, South Carolina office as a project manager. We are looking for a water resources engineer with a multi-disciplinary stormwater or ecological restoration background. Areas of previous experience should include an understanding of stream and wetland design, stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, construction document production, construction management, and project management. This position will involve managing projects related to stormwater and ecosystem restoration assessment, design, permitting, construction, and post-construction monitoring. Projects may include design of streams, wetlands, and watershed improvements; hydrologic and hydraulic models; watershed planning; and/or new and retrofit stormwater best management practices (BMPs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage technical design, budget, and schedule of complex ecological and water resource-based projects.
• Oversee successful implementation of projects through design, permitting and construction.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Meet multiple deadlines with a willingness to react positively to changes in priorities.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4 to 20 years of progressive experience working with the ecological and stormwater related projects in the Southeastern United States.
• Undergraduate degree in an applicable field of engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Carolina or the ability to obtain licensure by reciprocity is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic, hydrologic, and/or watershed modeling is required.
• Experience preparing technical reports, construction plans and technical specifications, construction cost estimates, and construction administration.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
