YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work alongside team members of the North America Field Testing and Operations (NAFTO) team, scientists and engineers to carry out experimentation that further unlocks the value of imagery for data collection
- Conduct digital and manual data collection to drive project objectives
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to analyze data and craft proposals for implementation or further experimentation
- Obtain FAA Part 107 certificate and pass Bayer proprietary UAV flight training
- Engage in day-to-day activities of a local field testing team, including seasonal small plot research activities and community engagement and team building activities
- Attend personal development opportunities on or off-site including visits to St. Louis and other sites in and outside of NAFTO near your location

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at the University perusing a Bachelor’s degree (junior/senior standing), Master of Science or Ph.D. in Agriculture, Environmental Engineering, Business, Natural Resources Management, or a related field of study;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to interact with team members at various levels in a professional manner, contribute ideas, and seek resolution to issues that may arise;
- Demonstrated problem solving, planning and time management skills;
- Capability to learn quickly and a willingness to ask questions;
- Able to work 10-20 hours per week if interning during the semester; able to work 40 hours per week if interning during the summer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Life Cycle Analysis;
- Understanding of customer perceptions around sustainability.
