Communications Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) is seeking to fill a position for a Communications Coordinator. The Communications Coordinator will manage and implement the strategic communication plan for the Innovation-to-Impact (“i2i”) program that focuses on achieving improved outcomes from research investments among USAID Feed the Future Innovation Labs and their associated technologies. Specifically, the Communications Coordinator will lead all i2i marketing and communication efforts through various platforms including email, websites, social media, in-person and virtual events, promotional campaigns, and other effective platforms. As necessary, the Communications Coordinator will support Soybean Innovation Lab (SIL) marketing and communication efforts under supervision of the Program Manager.
The Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) is comprised of world-renowned faculty whose research and outreach programs influence national and international policymaking on issues ranging from how producers, consumers, and agribusinesses manage risk and adapt to climate change to the impacts of new technologies, environmental regulations, federal laws on profitability and human well-being.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field and one year of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area.
