NC State University Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources is recruiting three Ph.D. Fellows from for an innovative opportunity integrating environmental justice theory, practice, and methods with hands-on training, including community-based internships and an international experience.
Students holding/completing a master's degree that have an interest in continuing on for a Ph.D. in Environment Science with an emphasis in Environmental Justice are eligible.
Potential mentors span expertise in forestry, ecology, human exposure, hydrology, geosciences, and social sciences. The program will begin in Spring or Summer 2022 and is funded by a USDA-NIFA National Needs Fellowship grant, which
