US Grains Council Seeks Director of Finance


International market development organization based in Washington, D.C. is recruiting a director of finance for its Washington, D.C. office. This position works closely with the president and CEO and is a staff liaison to the Secretary-Treasurer. This position ensures legal and regulatory compliance to GAAP and all U.S. government financial statutes and regulations. The director of finance works closely with directors who have oversight of international offices. This position is based in Washington, D.C.

Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Preference may be given to those holding a master’s degree in an accounting related field. Minimum of seven years of success in membership accounting, combined with work in a multi-cultural environment, is preferred. Ideal candidate will have experience overseeing audits, five years of positive supervisory experience,
be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Domestic and international travel are also required of this position.

Must also be able to quickly pivot and adapt as the organization’s strategic direction evolves.
