Position Summary

Join Our Team: Northeast SARE Seeking Applications for Open Positions
Northeast SARE has extended our search for a Grant Program Assistant because we did not meet our goals regarding number of candidates that have experience working in agricultural communities of color and other socially disadvantaged agricultural communities. Northeast SARE is committed to growing our ability to develop meaningful, respectful relationships with these communities and we seek candidates that are excited to join our team and contribute to those efforts.

Northeast SARE is in the middle of a strategic planning process to address diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism work in our organization. We are working with an outside consultant, a DEI Steering Committee led by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color stakeholders, and our Administrative Council to map out a multi-year implementation plan to address inequities in our processes, grantmaking, and culture. All staff members have been and will continue to be actively engaged in this process.
